(Some got increases of over 75%).</strong></li></ol><span style=""></span> <font color="#c23b3b"><strong style="">Report: In preparation for implementation of the National Rent Scheme Kildare County Council have been updating their files in accordance with the approved Differential Rent Scheme. </strong> <br /><span style=""></span><br /><span style=""></span>  <strong style="">The calculation of rent has not changed or increased. A change in rent (either increase or decrease) is generally due to a change in circumstances, usually associated with household make up or income details. We are encountering a high number of changes in household composition and income which were not previously notified to us. </strong> <br /><span style=""></span><br /><span style=""></span>  <strong style="">It is detailed in tenancy agreements that tenants must notify the Council if there is a change in circumstances. </strong> <br /><span style=""></span><br /><span style=""></span> <strong style="">The National Rent Scheme is due for implementation in January 2015 and all rents will be calculated on total household income, with a minimum rent of &euro;30 being set. It was the biggest in the ten years I was involved. The Gardai estimated that 20,000 people turned out. I would like to thank the Gardai, Civil Defence, all the Stewards, Tesco, Woodies, Johnston Haulage, Ger Meade, Ollie Kearns Electrician Kildare. I would also like to thank all the members of Newbridge Town Council, Johnny Peters, Myles Wickham, Brenda Donohue who done a great job as M C. I've spent my political career serving the community. One thousand voters in the Newbridge Town and almost two thousand voters in the Kildare Area of the County Council placed their trust in me by giving their </strong></em></strong><strong style=""><em style=""><u style=""><strong style="">No1 </strong></u></em></strong><strong style=""><em style=""><strong style="">vote in the last local election in 2009. It is most important that whoever is elected must be informed on all the new power that the new Municipal Councils will bring and be ready to implement the new powers. New or previous Councillors elected must have a proven record of working hard for their community and families and a promise to continue to do so.
